What Are The Side Effects Of Duphaston?

I missed my period. After 45 days I got negative result by home pregnancy test.Then I met with a doctor who suggested me to take Duphaston twice for five days.Now I m worried about the side effect if m already conceived.Still I don t know I m pregnant or not.

Home pregnancy tests are reasonably sensitive if you have performed them correctly. If that test is negative, in all probability you are not pregnant.
If you wish you can do blood pregnancy test as this is more reliable than the urine pregnancy test.

You can take duphaston as prescribed by your doctor to start periods. There is no evidence of its harmful effects on the fetus in case you are pregnant.
