What Are The Side Effects Of Doxepin?

My Dr prescribed Doxepin due to exema/skin condition(not sleeping due to itching!) The pharmacy filled the prescription for 100Mg!!!! it should have been 10 mg!!! I took it and slept for over 14 hours and had heart palpitations on waking! should I follow up with ER.... it is Sunday or call prescribing Dr??

Welcome to HCM and thanks for your query.
100 mg of Doxepin is an overdose. Since you are having palpitations, it is better to attend ER. If there is an arrhythmia, you would require to have an EKG and be under observation.
