What Are The Side Effects Of Cesarean Delivery?

Hi I am Mrs Dhanya, 33 yrs old. My baby is 1.10 yrs now. I am 3 months preg. For me i had a normal delivery first time. This time my gynic told i will have c - sec b coz body wont b ready 4 a normal delivery. B coz for a 2 nd time normal delivery needs min i need 3 yr gap it seems. Is this true. B coz many of my friends had a normal delivery second time also with 1 or 2 yr gap. For me first time I had heavy bleeding after my delivery. My Gynic told soo much of blood clotting was there in my Uterus. One month bleeding was there. Also during delivery my baby's head got stuck for some time. His head was little bit bigger. He was 3.15 kg. Baby was healthy. 3rd day baby got jondis. Bilirubin count went till 20. After 3 dys of phototherapy he was fine. I want to know why he got jondis. For me BP was normal & i was not diabetic during pregnency time. Only thing i suffered was joint pain b'coz of vericosis vein. After delivery it become worse. Now almost 2 yrs over still pain is thr. Veins are visible in dark blue color. Now 2 nd time i am conceived. Now itself join pain started. This time shall i prefer for a c - sec? I dont want to give soo much of pressure for my legs. Is c - sec safe for me & my baby? Also i would like to know how long i need to take rest after a c - sec. Some of my friends told c - sec have soo many side effects. Is tht true? Pls gave a proper advice doc. Thank you.

hi,since you have had a previous normal delivery I see no reason for you to not have a normal delivery.at this stage it is too premature to say that you should have a c section.if all goes well and baby weight is <3.5 kg you can have a normal delivery.since you say baby s head got stuck he may have developed something called cephalheamatoma which is a swelling on the head and gives rise to jaundice when it subsides.for varicose veins also normal delivery is very safe and maybe better because of early mobilization.take care and all the best.
