What Are The Side Effects Of Amoxicillin?

I have just been prescribed 500mg amoxicillin, one to be taken three times a day. I have just taken two! Do I take my next one when due ? Also will it have side affects ? I have also started a course of metronidazole 200ml, one to be taken three times a day, will this have any effect on how I carry on taking ?

As per your complain if you have started taking the medicine and already done with two doses then the chances of allergic reaction are a bit less as most commonly allergic reactions become evident with the first dose itself..

Amoxicillin is an antibiotic and has to be taken three times a day and it is an appropriate dose and you should continue to take the medicine without any hesitation.

Metronidazole 200 mg is also fine and if you have started taking it and you have no problems then you should continue with both the medicines for the number of times it is asked to take as the antibiotics work well if taken properly on correct timings..

You should take for only the number of days as told by your doctor and stop after that to avoid drug abuse reactions and toxicity..
