What Are The Risks Of Carrying A Baby Inspite Of Having Thyroid?

Hi,
I am a pregnant woman carrying four months baby, me having Thyroid problem, reports says that the TSH level is 6.5. How much their is a chance of abnormal child birth or any risks involved due to this excess of TSH.

hi Tsh levels in 2 trimester should be 3 or less but yours is high. you can start with tab thyronorm 50 mcg in the morning daily and get a repeat Tsh after 6 weeks. at this Tsh level it doesn't pose any developmental risk to the baby. all the best take care.
