What Are The Reasons For Positive Hcg In Blood Test?
hi i am 28, 5ft7, weighing 250lbs and had numerous positive pregnancy test the doctor has done a blood test and said that hcg is present. could there another for the presence of hcg because i have no other signs of pregnancy. cannot get a scan for two weeks so i am worried and curious

your bmi shows you are obese
if hcg is present it can be one of the reason for pregnancy
it can be inside uterus or outside the uterus,vesicular mole ,unlikely in your case,or pregnancy of unknown location
blood test has to be repeated after 48 hours ,if hcg doubles then it can be a viable pregnancy
definetly an ultrasound is needed to confirm pregnancy
be postive and go for an ultrasound and repeat hcg after 48 hrs of prior test
