What Are The Precautions To Be Taken If Having Low Lying Anterior Placenta At 18 Weeks Of Pregnancy?
Hello doctor I am 18 week pregnant and have a low lying anterior placenta i.e 1.3 cm away from os according to my sonography report. what care should i take from now onwards because my consultant have told me that hopefully it will move up until the 28th week but if it will not so, then it will complicated at the time of c section. i already had two c sections due to high blood pressure and reduced movements and weaken heart beat of my babies. What Are The Precautions To Be Taken If Having Low Lying Anterior Placenta At 18 Weeks Of Pregnancy?
Hi, I read your query and I understand your concerns. Following is my reply: 1) The low lying placenta moves up slowly. 2) Since it is one week only, it is very early to predict or say anything. 3) Get another scan done at 28 weeks to see if placenta has moved up Let me know if you have anymore questions.
