Hello and welcome to HCM, Stones are common in the urinary tract beginning from kidney to ureter to urinary bladder. These stones are managed conservatively initially. The stones in the ureter or more commonly the stones which slip into the ureter cause pain and need to be removed as the symptoms increase and as the size increases. The stones can be removed surgically or by laser treatment. The stones do not cause any effect on the reproductive tract or on the sex life further in life. Thanks and take care Dr Shailja P Wahal
