What Are The Possible Treatments For Food Poisoning ?

Hi I am an 18 year old female, I have recently had food poisoning 2 weeks ago and since I have had blood in my stools, am always tired, have headaches and get occasional pains in my lower abdomen. Is this just my body reacting from the food poisoning or is it something more? any help would be great. thanks

Welcome to HCM.
Blood in stool with pain in lower abdomen suggests some infection in the intestine.
If blood is dark then it is upper GI bleeding and if blood is fresh red then it is lower GI bleeding.
It might be due to indigestion, hard stool after constipation.
You have to consult you physician for proper diagnosis and medications.
Otherwise start ofloxacin/ornidazole to subside the infection.
Nsaid with dicyclomin will be helpful to subside pain.
Lactic acid bacillus will be helpful to protect gut flora.
Take more liquid and simple diet.
Drink more water and other liquids like buttermilk, coconut water, lemon water,ors/zinc formula.
Avoid oily,spicy,stale food.
