What Are The Possible Treatments For Bowel Cancer?

I was in hospital yesterday after becoming unwell. I had severe sickness and stomach pains. Having conducted a CT scan I have been informed they have found a shadow on my bowels and its a strong possibility that it is cancer. I show absolutely none of the signs of bowel cancer as described anyway, but am worried obviously. As I was severely constipated at the time of the CT scan I have read it maybe that which has caused the shadow, could you please help?
