What Are The Possible Treatments For Widal?

Hi, my name is paiman, currently been a medical student of 3rd year and I have been having widal (1:80),(1:60) and typhoid since 4 years and frequently twice or 3 times annually I have both meningitis and GIT widal and typhoid even seen all the specialists of my country and had blood culture 2 times during this illness, due to strong antibiotic , lots of antibiotics are not effective for me even Ceftraxone 2 mg per day, Ciproflaxacine, Cefixem, Ezithromycine are the medicines which I took for 15 days frequently for years. During widal or typhoid I have deep depression, soon become emotional, hot fever and GIT Acid even my body doesn t grow up so please guide me what to do?

Hi thanks for contacting HCM...

According to history you have chronic infection with typhoid ....
You have given all good antibiotic ...
So it seems to be resistent bacilli....

If antibiotic fails then few surgeon reccomend cholecystectomy for eradicating heoatobiliary carriage ....

Try to keep outside fried and non veg food less...
Include fruits in your routine diet...

Avoid stress as it can lead to gastrits ....

Take omeprazole on empty stomach for acidity ....

Drink lots of fluids .....
Maintain personal hygiene ...

Consult gastroenterologist for your condition.
