What Are The Possible Causes For Light Colored Stools?

I ate part of a medium rare hamburger 5 nights ago and was sick to my stomach with cramping that night. I was not feeling well and had cramping for the next full day. SInce then, I have had light colored stools and am concerned that I have a bug. Is this something that will go away on it's own? I no longer feel any cramps or any other symptoms. Thanks

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Gastroenteritis is normally self limited and the symptoms will improve on their own.
If you are experiencing any diarrhoea and vomiting, it would be important to maintain your fluid intake to prevent dehydration.

The use of probiotics may help to restore normal intestinal flora and reduce your symptoms of abdominal discomfort and altered stools.

I hope this helps
