What Are The Normal Values In A Blood Test Report?

Dear doctor I m 35 years old. my weight is 68 kg. Here with I m sending my blood test results.TOTAL PROTIEN - 81.3 g/L,TRIGLYCERIDES - 396.8 mg/dl, SERUM CHOLESTROL - 245 mg/dl , URIC ACID - 8.3 mg/dL, CREATININE - 1.3 mg/dL,ALP - 103 IU /L, ALT - 40 IU/L , DBI (Direct bilirubin) - 1.4 umol/L, AST - 23 IU/L , ALB - 43.8 g/L, BUN - 5 mmol/L , LDI - 187 IU/L . Please guide me.

Hello and welcome to HCM,
The most striking finding on your report is the presence of raised values of total cholesterol and triglycerides.
The normal range for cholesterol is less than 200 mg/dl and triglyceride should be below 150 mg/dl.
You need to consult your physician with reports.
Drugs to lower lipids are required.
besides drugs. life style modification is also needed to control the lipid levels which includes diet low in saturated fats, increased intake of fibre and regular exercise.
