What Are The Normal Ranges For A1C3 Tests?

What are the normal ranges for A1C3 tests? Back in January I had it at like 11.7% and then in May it was at 7.4% or something. My daily blood sugar levels have been going up since then so I think I may be in trouble on Wednesday when I have my next test.

Hi and Welcome to HCM,
Normal range for the HGB A1C test is between 4% and 5.6%. Your level 7.4% in May was high. The higher the HGB A1C, the higher risk of developing complications related to diabetes.
People with diabetes should have this test every three months to determine whether their blood sugars have reached the target level of control. Next test can be done this month itself.

Wish you speedy recovery,
thank you
