General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I understand your concern. Normal level range of vitamin B12 is 200-500 pg/mL, and your lab result of 1108 is either a error, or an indicator of an underlying disease which causes B12 levels to rise to abnormal levels. The only thing you can do is, to first repeat the test, and if the result is the same, you need to see a doctor for a complete check up and further tests in order to identify the cause for this abnormal result. All the best.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ornela Ademovi
