What Are The Normal Levels Of Chromium In Body?

Yes please. I ve had count in blood/body, l80 mg, also I had chrominum (sp?) at 160 mg. Metal to metal, hips, 11 years ago in suburb of Chicago, Glenview. Please tell me the number which is very high. My ortho in Colorado has been doing many of these re-done hips, but he has never heard those HIGH NUMBERS. Thank you kindly, Sheila

Thank you for your query. I can understand your concerns.
If a chromium hip poisoning is suspected to find out if the implant has failed,the blood levels of the metal is done.

Serum chromium (Cr): >17 µg/L (327 nmol/L) indicates Chromium Poisoning (metallosis).
