HAVE DB2 NOW AND AT NITE MY FEET JUST TINGLE A LOT, DR. HERE GAVE ME A COUPLE OF LYRICA FOR THE PROBLEM AND THEY WORKED GREAT. MY QUESTION IS WHAT MED CAN I TAKE THAT COMES CLOSE TO LYRICA THATS OTC / OR PRES THATS LESS EXPENSIVE...NEEDTHIS SOON TO SLEEP. THATS ALL MY INFO FOR NOW.....ROBERT TITUS

Hi

The symptoms you describe are suggestive of diabetes induced peripheral neuropathy. Although Lyrica is an effective drug, an affordable alternative would be carbamezapine or tryptanol. You may also want to try pyridoxine which is vitamin B6, this also helps with certain types of neuropathy.
