What Are The Medications For Reducing The Inflammation In Bones?

Hi, I have recently had a whole of body bone scan & several of my joints were shown to have inflammation in them, knees & shoulders (arm joints) were the worst. Can you advise on what would be the most effective way to help reduce this painful inflammatory condition. I am male & 64 years old.

first of all we have to find the cause of painful joints,commonly at your age it could be Osteoarthrosis.Having said that get blood test for serum uric acid,RA factor,blood sugar .May i know the reason for doing bone scan?
So,based on all these report we can start medicine to reduce inflammation.Meanwhile,you can start ice fomentation,ibuprofen on sos basis and after discussion with your doctor. Take care.
