Orthopaedic Surgeon, Joint Replacement 's  Response
Hi, thanks for writing to HCM.

Based on the description, I suspect that your brother is suffering from Muscular dystrophy. There are numerous causes and conditions that produce this clinical picture.

Various investigations like blood parameters, CT scans, EMG, Muscle biopsy and Nerve conduction studies are needed to establish the correct diagnosis.

I suggest you to approach a Neurophysician for a detailed evaluation and further management.

Hope this information is helpful. Good day
