What Are The Effects Of Irregular Dosage?

hi, i recently missed a dose of my antibiotics, im on Doxycyline, im about 24 hours late on my dose and am about 26 days in to my cycle. Im talking it for acne problems. Should i continue my remaining course of antibiotics?
I have about 6 pills left. I'm supposed to take 1 a day

Welcome to HCM!

I strongly suggest you to take the remaining doses as scheduled. It's Ok if you have missed one dose. Take that dose immediately and then continue the rest as on schedule.

If you stop taking your antibiotics in between, it leads to the emergence o resistant strains of bacteria. There's a good chance then that the next time you suffer from similar infection, then this antibiotic (Doxycycline) will no have any effect on you.
Also, in the future, ensure that you always complete your antibiotic course and not leave it in between. Try to extend this knowledge to your near and dear ones. This will help a great deal in combating with the problem of antibiotic resistance.
