What Are The Early Pregnancy Signs And Symptoms?

is it possible that im pregnant
I usually get my period on the 1st of the month but I didnt , so on the 8th I had unprotected sex &' its been 4 days I still havent gotten my period , I took a home test &' it came out negative but I was told to expect it to be negative because I have to wait at least 10-14 days after intercourse to take a home test..but I have been having headaches for the past 2 days , feeling nausea , &' peeing every 20-25 mins

Hi,
If you have regular 28-30 day cycles and had intercourse just prior to an expected period, you are safe and hence cannot conceive; ovulation occurs two weeks prior to the onset of the next period and this is the fertile phase of a menstrual cycle when an unprotected intercourse can cause conception. Your symptoms can be due to a general malaise or a urinary tract infection; they are not specific. To get a home pregnancy test to read well you should wait for 3-7 days after a missed period and use a fresh early morning sample. For a better and earlier clarification, you can get a blood pregnancy test. Hope this helps.
