What Are The Dots On The Gum Line And Roof Of Mouth Of The Baby?

Breastfed baby 5 1/2 weeks old, supplemented with formula 2-4oz a day. Noticed white dots on gum line & roof of mouth. At times tongue appears coated with white but hard to tell if just formula residue. What are the dots, should I be worried about thrush?

Oral thrush could be the possible reason.
Apply antifungal mouth paint.
