Hello and welcome to HCM, The precautions after surgery of sphincter of Oddi are similar to that for any other surgery. Initially the surgical would has to be taken care of. The wound should be dressed regularly. Any blood or pus discharge should raise the suspicion of infection. Infection if detected should be treated by antibiotics. For the initial days nothing should be taken orally. Parenteral nutrition should be taken. After few days food can be taken orally. However, initially fluids should be taken followed by solid foods.
