What Are The Chances Of Pregnancy With Irregular Periods?

I am 30 years old and my periods were irregular with heavy bleeding 7 months before my doctor suggested me to take duoluton l tablets for 3 months now i am getting my periods regularly, I want to know what is the chance of me to become pregnant? is there any problem since have taken duoluton l for 3 months

Most of the times, irregular menses suggest that the eggs are not forming or the uterine environement is not conducive for the fertilizedegg to implant.
Duoluton you are receiving is a type of progesterone. It has regularized your menses by artificially regularizing the hormonal cyle.
You have to find out whether you are forming eggs or not. You can find it out by getting your ultrasonography done daily after about 9th day of menstruation.
If you are forming eggs, then accordingly you can plan the intercourse to become pregnant.
However, while on Duolutone, the chances of egg formation are very less as this hormone is used in birth control pill.
Have you told your doctor that you are keen on becoming pregnant? He may change the pill to some other type of progesterone which does not affect getting pregnant.
