What Are The Chances Of Pregnancy After Taking Plan-B Followed By Unprotected Sex?

Me and my bf had unprotected sex for about 5-10 seconds. I got scared and didnt want to continue. Anyway he didnt ejaculate in me, and i took the plan b pill 12 hours later. Im really scared right now to the point where i cant sleep. What the chance of pregnancy?

I appreciate your concern for the safety and efficacy of Plan-B.

Even though your bf did not ejaculate after having unprotected penetrative sex for about 5-10 seconds, it does not mean that you are protected.
The fact that the pre ejaculatory secretions from his penis contains sufficient number of active and motile sperms capable of fertilizing the released egg and hence there is a possibility of pregnancy.

Now since you have taken Plan-B after 12 hrs of your encounter, Plan-B is
about 52–94% effective in preventing pregnancy. Hence, the chances of pregnancy are in between 6-48%.

Get the pregnancy test done on an early morning urine sample to rule out pregnancy.
