What Are The Chances Of Pregnancy After Missing Yasmin Pill?
Question, I am currently taking Yasmin. I started my 3rd week Sunday but I drank heavliy and ended up throwing up i'm not sure about the time frame of it. but I think there was at least 1.5 hours to 3 hours in between taking my pill and throwing up. I started having break through bleeding the next day and now it's heavy, does that mean I "missed" the pill/threw it up? What are my risks of pregnancy?
You did probably effectively "miss" a pill from that vomiting episode, which is what caused you to bleed, however if you took a new pill as soon as your remembered it and finished your pack, your pregnancy risk is still the same as if you didn't miss any. If you miss 2 pills in a row, it is riskier to conceive. The package insert that comes with your pack of pills has instructions on how to handle the situation if you miss pills, but in the situation you describe, you are at low risk for pregnancy. I hope this answers your question and was helpful. Take care
