What Are The Chances Of Having STD Through Unprotected Oral Sex?

I received unprotected oral sex from a stripper at a bachelor party. The oral sex lasted at least 15 minutes and she deep throated my penis a lot causing my urethra to touch the back of her throat which is my biggest concern. What s the possibility that I have an STD? This was yesterday and I plan on getting tested tomorrow.

Hello and welcome to healthcaremagic

Unprotected Oral Sex is safer as compared to unprotected vaginal OR anal sex but it is not without risk of transmitting STD's.

STD's like Herpes genitalis, Syphilis, Gonorrhea can be acquired by receptive oral sex. HIV has a little or no risk of transmitting through receptive (peno-oral) oral sex, because saliva has antiviral properties and is not considered to be a source of infection.

However, if the lady had oral sores/mucosal breaks, the risk of acquiring STD's including HIV is definitely more through breaks in the oral mucosa.

It is hard to estimate the risk of acquiring STD's via receptive peno-oral route because most people who have oral sex also practice other forms of sex during the same encounter.

I would suggest that you get yourself tested at about a month after sexual act. Repeat testing at 3 months, is required for confirmation.
