What Are The Chances Of Getting Pregnant Through IVF Treatment?

Hi Doctor would need your help for my dream to come true. Would like to share my problems with you so that you can guide me the correct path for becoming pregnant. i have been marriaged for 8years now. And still not able to get pregnant Its almost 2years we have been tring but not able to I was diagonised as haveing PCOD Problem at first, i under went twice IUI, my peroids are not normal.so after the failure of IUI i consulted another doctor for some more examinations, and results ended up with getting IVF done. I am very worried and tensed as IVF is not 100% sure of having a baby. My husband Semen analysis is done and its very much normal But i would definetly need you complete guidance here for me to get pregnant.So pls help me get complete information and support to have my baby. Pls let me what has to be done by me(exescise/Deit/anything and everything) so that i get pregnant and delivery a healthy baby Await you positive response. Thnx/Regards Renuka

Hello dear,I understand your concern.In my opinion PCOD is one of the treatable cause of infertility.As ovulation doesn't occur in PCOD the ovulation induction drugs like clomiphene along with IUI might be tried for 4-6 cycles.This combination might be effective.IVF is the last resort.100% surity might not be possible with any procedure but there might be more chances with IVF.If you are overweight or obese weight reduction is effective in PCOD.Adapt healthy lifestyle like exercise for an hour daily.Avoid high calorie food and take healthy nutritional diet.Most important of all is avoid stress and anxiety regarding pregnancy as they might delay conception further.
