Sex during period has usually no chance of causing pregnancy. But best to use condom to prevent infections. Unprotected sex during period can be associated vaginal infection called Bacterial vaginosis. So, just to be safe, use condom.

Hi, sorry its not clear whether u want or r avoiding a pregnancy.any ways if u count 1st day of period as day 1 ovulation occurs mid cycle i.e say day 14 not on exact date but the time period between day9 n day 21is more fertile.so period time is a safe time when chances of pregnancy r low.thanx
