What Are The Chances Of Danger With Bleeding And Diarrhea When Pregnant?

I took mifeprex when I was 8.6 weeks at 3pm on Friday. On Saturday at 8:25pm I took 800mcg of misoprostol bucally. I left it in for an hour before swallowing. At midnight I got up with a bad case of diarrhea and some bleeding. I had little to no cramping. I passed two clots at 3 and 5 am on Sunday. By 5pm all bleeding stopped. I went to the clinic on Wednesday and had an ultrasound that confirmed a completely continuing pregnancy measuring at 9.4 weeks. I know a surgical abortion is recommended, but I'm having seconds thought. What are the chances that I have screwed up this baby? Can it be healthy?

Hi,
Thanks for writing to us.
I have seen so many cases where abortion pills did not work properly because of diarrhoea.
You should consult a good gynaecologist and with proper investigation and in under her supervision you can continue your pregnancy.
If baby is healthy continue your pregnancy.
Good luck.
Regards
Dr.Richa
