What Are The Chances Of Conceiving Post Tubal Ligation?

I am 38 yrs old. 7 years ago after giving birth to my 5th child, I had a tubal ligation. I was told I had a piece of the tube cut out. Now, I am having symptoms of pregnancy. My period which is a normal 7 day heavy bleed, was a dark brown light flow that was done in a couple hours followed the next day by a small light pink tissue-like spot. I have nausea, frequent urination, the circles around my nipples have enlarged, I have no energy and am very tired. Is it possible that I could be pregnant?? Or could it be something else such as menopause or something?

Hello,
I have gone through your query and understand your concern.

As you had the menstrual period recently, then you might not be pregnant.
That brown dark light flow is nothing but a old blood retained in the uterus.

All the symptoms like Nausea, Frequent urination, circles around nipples, tiredness, weakness etc may be due to hormonal changes.
These symptoms are common in perimenopausal stage.

Further as you had Post tubal ligation, you could not be pregnant.

YOu have to understand that reaching perimenopause is normal in stages of life and it does not need any treatment.
If these symptoms are bothersome and worsens, you need to consult your Gynecologist and she may start hormone therapy.

Hope this helps.
Please write back for further queries.
Wishing you good health.
