What Are The Chances Of Becoming HIV Positive?

I had unprotected vaginal and oral sex with a lady on 18/4/2014. She later told me that she take in for a hiv positive patient in end of jan/feb but aborted the pregnancy. Four weeks after the incident she tested negative. I don t ve any std. Can I test @ 21 days? She have not experience any ARS either do I have. What are my chances of becoming positive? The had been on ART and have no sign of illness. I m worry Doctor

You have definite chance of hiv infection. So you hzvr to go for hiv testing. because hiv infection does not produce symptoms immediately. It takes time. Moreover if its in window period then test is also negative. Sonneither negative test nor lack pf symptoms suggest you are free. Go for testing minimum one month after day of exposure. Go for p24 antigen test. and make sure about your hiv status.
