What Are The Chances Of HIV Transmission Through Inanimate Objects?
Hello sir....my baby is 13 month old...recently I cut her hair by by a person in roadside who used razor for clearing hair which was not sterilised but the blade was new...my baby got small cut on her head but no bleeding...if there is any chance of transmuting HIV virus...if have what can I do now??? I am from Bangladesh..a developing country....
Usually every barber is following same practice and the blade was new than the chances of getting HIV infection are very less because outside the body in high temperature HIV virus is killed. If still you have any doubt you can go for HIV testing of your baby. Don't worry she will be fine.
