Hi,I am Dr. Amitkumar Sharma (Internal Medicine Specialist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Normally the first week of the menses is considered as safe period so there are less chances of pregnancy as the ovulation takes place around the 14 th day so no reason to take it.If you are worried then you may take Plan-B but the problem is once you take it you will again get withdrawal bleeding with in a week of taking Plan-B.Better to discuss with your doctor who inserted the Nuvaring.
Thanks
