What Are The Causes Of Throat Pain And Feeling Of Lump Inside Throat?

I woke up a week ago with neck pain and it went away and now the left side of my throat hurts and it feels like a lump on the side of my throat , but I don't feel a bump ! And it's been hurting for a week now sometimes the lower half of my chest hurts and goes away and I do smoke ! Is it cancer ?

Well, no one can rule out a cancer without examining you, but the feeling of lump and chest pain are a cause of concern and i would like you to meet your doctor as soon as possible.
