What Are The Causes Of Recurrent Diarrhoea And How To Prevent It?

My son is 22 months. For the past two months he has had diarrhoea and off. Treatments given include entergermina,bioflorbut and lactose free milk. Also diets control.every time treatment ends the diarrhoea returns. We are now giving him entamizole since this morning and rice and yogurt. Doctor has told us to stop milk and all sugars and carbs.med to be give for 5 days.
questions: why the recurrence? should I change his milk? Am currently giving him cow and gate adv. also what Togo e him as diet for next 5 days.also how to prevent this.

As you describe, it appears that your child is healthy upto recent times, and since 2 months,your son is having diarrhea.
It appears to be the lactose intolerance,means the intolerance to the milk containing lactose. You are advised to give the baby rice and yogurt, which also contains the lactose. Cows milk also contains the lactose.
you can give him the soya milk for drinking, rice,and all foods with out the milk and milk containing foods.
