Hi.. About 90% of the genital warts are caused by HPV infections.. These are communicable infection.. If the infection is from the strain 11 or 16 of the Human Papilloma virus, the can be a premalignant infection, in the sense there are  higher chances of cervical cancer.. See a dermatologist for wart removal creams or cryosurgery.. Vaccination against the above strain is also recommended.. Both you and your partner are recommended to use the vaccination... Always pratise safe sex to minimise the chances of infection from spreading...
