What Are The Causes For Shortness Of Breath And A Quickened Pulse ?

hi im 17 and i need help with in issue i cannot resolve.yesterday at my school i felt really sick.i was sitting in the classroom when all of a sudden my heart started racing fast and i starded to get extremely dizzy and light headed and also short of breathening these symptoms lasted all day as in 8 am thrue 11 pm at night and till now i still feel dizzy and sometimes i feel like i will pass out.please help me thank you.

hi welcome to health care magic.you check your blood CBC for anemia b'ze if you having low hb you may devloped such a kind of symptoms.or check your blood pressure to your family doctor if you suffer from low bp you may devlop these symptoms. yes anxiety or any kind of fear may also produse such a symptoms

the symptoms you are having are more likely to be due to anxiety rather than a heart problem. as long as the beats are regular there is no heart problem. Palpitation is due to anxiety. Tab. Propranolol will help you feel better.Still an ECG will clear all your doubts.
