What Are The Alternatives To Insulin?

i am male 39 years old and am diabetic with type 1 ,am using insulin -humolin 70-30-lilly ,but there was short of this product in the store and we had to purchase insulidd -30-70- -m.j biopharm private limited -india ,can you please tell me if it has side effects?

Hi Shakeel,

Both insulin have the same components: 70% human insulin isophane suspension and 30% human insulin injection. The difference is the company that have produced them : Lilly and Biopharm respectively.

So, they are both human insulin. The side effect that you should be aware of is Hypoglycemia. Allergic reaction is a potential side effect but it can rarely occur.
