What Are The Abnormal Lab Values For Onset Dyspne And Pneumonia?

what are the abnormal lab values that one can find in a patient with onset dyspnea, possible pneumonia, and open skin areas and bruises and also has had cirrhosis for at least 5 years but continues to drink 12 beers every night. and why would these test be ordered? thanks

I can understand your concern.
If patient is having cirrhosis of liver with, pneumonia and dyspnea than he/she will have following laboratory values abnormal.
1. Low hemoglobin and high total WBC (white blood cells).
2. High ESR (erythrocyte sedimentation rate)
3. Raised liver enzymes like SGOT, SGPT. Raised bilirubin.
4. Low protein levels a specially albumin.
5. Chest x ray will show consolidation and infiltration.
So better to consult doctor and first get done clinical examination. Than order investigations and start appropriate treatment.
