Dear Ma am Hi

Thanks for posting your query on HCM.
I appreciate your concern for the safety for the Olmezest and Mecobion.

Olmezest (Olmesartan) is an effective and relatively safe drug prescribed for the treatment for high BP.
However, it is known to cause the following side effects like allergic reaction in the form of angioneurotic edema (swelling of the face and the lips), dry cough (less common), etc.

Mecobion is a multi vitamin preparations used in various deficiency states, is known to cause anorexia, nausea, diarrhea and warmth sensation.

In view of your painful joint swellings I would advise you to consult your treating doctor to find out the causes like inflammatory arthritis may be you need to undergo some lab tests like CBC, ESR, C reactive protein, Rh factor, etc. and also to use alternate medicine for the control of high BP.

Hope these suggestions could help you in getting the treatment for painful joints and the suitable medication for high BP.
Wishing you good health.
