Budesonide is an inhaled corticosteroid act as anti inflammatory action. Naturally corticosteroid is a steroid hormone released by Adrenal cortex which plays a wide range of physiological process including stress response, immune response, regulation of inflammation, carbohydrate metabolism, protein catabolism etc. A synthetic analogue may cause various side effects like- Apathy, Insomnia, cough, hoarseness, headache, trembling, anxiety, depression, hypertension, muscle weakness, infection etc. But you should not stop the prescribed medication without doctor s guidance as it may worse your condition for which you have taken the drug.
