What Are Side Effects Of Daflon?

I am 27 I butjust delivered 8 days back normal delivery . but I am complaining of thrombosed extranal hemorroid ,my doctor describe for me DAFLON and I become better ,but per vaginal bleeding become sever .is it b/c of daflon ?is it save in lactation ?

Hi,

Thank you for your query. I can understand your concerns.
Possible side effects of Daflon include routine gastric disorders(stomach/abdominal pain, diarrhea), headache and neurovegetative disorders which never required cessation of treatment.
Bleeding per vagina has not been reported as side effect.
Passage into breast milk is minimal. However in absence of data,breast feeding is not recommended during treatment.
Hemodynamic parameters (systolic and diastolic blood pressure) as well as laboratory parameters (hematology, liver and renal function, metabolic) were uninfluenced even by prolonged treatment for one year at the dosage of two tablets of 500 mg Daflon per day
