Hallow Dear,
Let us discuss the issues one by one.
Your placenta is in the fundal region on the posterior wall. It should not cause any problem to your
pregnancy neither will cause any obstruction for
vaginal delivery. It is grade I in maturity level. However, you have not mentioned at which
gestational age. The placenta undergoes maturity gradually throughout the pregnancy. So in earlier weeks, the placental maturity will be low and subsequently it will attain full maturity by 37 weeks or so.
You seem to have two fibroids in your uterus. One is in the lateral wall of the uterus. This should not cause physical obstruction during delivery; however it may affect the uterine contractions. The other fibroid is subserous, meaning there by that it is outside the uterine wall, connected to uterus and protruding in the abdomen. It is of considerable size and is in the anterior wall of lower segment. So there are possibilities that this fibroid may physically obstruct the passage of the babies head in the
pelvic cavity. If it happens so, the you will have to undergo
Caesarean section delivery.
Whichever route you deliver, there is a risk of excessive
bleeding after delivery because of the presence of fibroids. There is a chance of Red Degeneration of the fibroid after delivery. I would advise you to deliver in the apex hospital only where you have facilities of
Blood Bank, Operation theatre and Expert Obstetrician.
You need not be worried for the Caesarean delivery. Now in the 21st century, the surgical techniques, anaesthetic techniques and medical facilities have advanced to such an extent that Caesarean section has become a very safe surgery.
Travel during pregnancy is safe only during midtrimester. In first 14 weeks of pregnancy, the pregnancy is rather unstable while after 30 weeks of pregnancy, the uterus is more irritable and the mother is fatigued in awkward position. Comparatively period between 14 weeks and 30 weeks and more stable when you may undertake travel of a reasonable distance and comforts.
However, my dictum during pregnancy is "Travel when you must!"
I hope this removes your stress.
