What Are Long Term Effects On Knee After Falling Post Knee Surgery?

I fell yesterday and landed on my left knee and side. I have had 2 total knee replacement s and this is the first time I have ever fallen. Today, my left knee is all black and blue (which I attribute to taking cumadin (sp?). My knee does not hurt other than for the shock of the fall. What are the possibilities of long term problems? I am walking as I always do . Thanks for your help

Hi,Thanks for your query. After going through your query I came to know that you have had both knee replacements. You got fallen, but you are saying that you have not much pain and you are walking as always do. Your left knee is bruised due to probably cumadin. As per my understanding you does not have any effect on future prospects. The black and blue will gradually reduce itself in few days. You can discuss with your treating Doctor about it. I do hope that you have found something helpful. If you have additional questions or follow up queries then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your queries. Wishing you good health. Take care.
