What Are High BP And Red Rash Symptoms Of?

I have a burning red rash on my face, neck and arms....and my BP has been very high for two days. No headache today but the last three days the headache was almost too much to handle. My neck has been hurting for about 4 days. What could this be and what should I do?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Having burning red rash on your face, neck and arms might be related to increased levels of BP you have been experiencing for two days. It is compulsory to discuss it further with your cardiologist in order to bring your BP back to normal to avoid severe complications.

Further evaluation of your neck blood vessels and spinal cord together with measuring the thyroid hormones levels is also highly recommended.

Depending on the tests results, specific treatment will be prescribed.

Avoid salty/oily foods and caffeine drinks (coffee, energetic, etc.).

Hope it helped!
