What Are Chances Of Getting Infected With Hiv Due To Rupture Of Condom?
Hi Doctor, Today I tried having sex with an unknown partner. I had used a condom, but when I tried to insert my penis into the vagina, the condom snapped at the rear portion. Immediately I removed my penis and did not continue. After sometime I washed my penis with dettol. I wanted to know what are my chances of getting infected with HIV. My age is 26 and I have no pre-existing illness.

in this situation you are having little chance of HIV infection because when you know that condom rupture and suddenly you remove penis and also you wash it with dettol many times.
not to worry much
with whom you did sex is commercial sex worker or your girl friend?
also do test for HIV and if possible do test of partner with whom you did ex.
