What Age You Were When You Started Puberty ?
Do you remember what age you were when you started puberty? Like when did you first get hair down there ? I honestly don t remember how old I was but I think I was maybe eleven or so. That s usually the first sign of it, and my friend just told me her eight year old daughter has already started getting that!!! Doesn t that mean she s maturing unusually fast? Or was I just a late bloomer? What s with all the GUYS answering this ? :D

hi,thanks for query.Normally the age for puberty is about 11-13 years in girls and 12-14 in boys.This is the time when under the influence of hormones changes in body takes place.At times due to some hormonal imbalance this can be delayed or come early.8 years is definitely early.It is advisable that you friend should talk to her primary care physician about this and just see that things are normal.
