Weight gain due to being a food addict, end of eating the entire dish on tasting it. How can I lessen the sense of taste?

I am a foodie...I love pampering my taste buds. But that has resulted me in weight gain . I am overweight now. Food never fails to tempt me.. And just tasting it is not enough, I want to have all of it. I am fed up.. I want my sense of taste to there any way it can be done? I read somewhere removing your tonsils will help..???

controlling on your taste buds is a matter of your will power.
tonsils are lymphoid tissues.
they have nothing to do with your taste sensations.
start by small first reducing and then stopping certain addional food times.
