HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Weight gain can erode anyone's confidence so you are not alone.

Pregnancy tests are normally positive within 11 to 14 days after conception, if you passed this time period when you took the test then it is likely that the result is accurate.

If you wish to be sure you can consider repeating it.

If you the repeat test is negative and you wish to lose weight you would have to change your diet and increase physical activity.
There are two main types of diets : low fat/low calorie diet and low carbohydrate diet.

In terms of activity , it is normally advised to exercise at least 150 minutes a week. It may be difficult with 3 children but you can break it up into 10 minute segments.

I hope this helps
